How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find IslamSwipe and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. IslamSwipe does not process cancellations directly — all subscription management is handled by Apple.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open IslamSwipe, go to the Premium screen, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Open IslamSwipe, go to Profile, then Account Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently removes all your personal data, profile, activity history, likes, saves, comments, sessions, and preferences from our servers. Local data on your device is also cleared. Important: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel your subscription separately through iPhone Settings before deleting your account.
How do I clear my data as a guest?
Go to Profile, scroll down, and sign out. This clears all locally stored data including your liked posts, saved posts, dhikr history, and preferences.
Can I use the app without creating an account?
Yes. You can use IslamSwipe as a guest. You can browse all content, do dhikr, track your progress locally, and save favourites. Signing in with Apple lets you sync your data across devices, post comments, and access social features like following other users.
Can I download my data?
Yes. Go to Profile, then Account Settings, then Download My Data. This exports your data as a JSON file containing your profile information, dhikr history, and usage statistics.
Is the content verified and authentic?
All Quran verses are sourced from authenticated Quran texts. All hadith are sourced from authenticated collections and graded Sahih (authentic) or Hasan (good) as a minimum standard. Every post includes its source reference (book name and hadith number). Scholarly wisdom is attributed to its speaker with the classical source cited. How does hands-free dhikr work?
Hands-free dhikr plays an audio count (1, 2, 3...) at your chosen pace while you recite the dhikr phrase yourself. You can set the target count, adjust the pace from 0.5 to 5 seconds between counts, and use it with your phone locked. Free users get 5 sessions per week. Premium users get unlimited sessions.
The app is not working properly. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store. Check your internet connection — the app needs internet for syncing data, loading content, and playing Quran audio. If the issue persists, email us at islamswipeapp@gmail.com with a description of the problem, your device model, and iOS version.
How do I report inappropriate content or a user?
On any card in the feed, tap the three-dots menu and select "Report". You can choose a reason for the report. You can also block users from the same menu, which hides their content from your feed. You can manage blocked users from Account Settings. Reports are reviewed and actioned promptly.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled for IslamSwipe in your iPhone Settings, then Notifications, then IslamSwipe. Inside the app, check your notification preferences in Profile, then Notification Settings. If notifications are enabled but not arriving, try closing and reopening the app to reschedule them.
How do I change my profile information?
Go to Profile and tap on your name or the edit button. You can update your display name, username, bio, and profile picture (premium feature). Changes are synced across devices if you are signed in with Apple.
